Billie Marie Cummins, aka “mawmaw,” 92, of New Ulm, Texas passed away July 31, 2018. She was born to William and Alice (Powers) Bookman on October 15, 1925 in Port Arthur, Texas.
Mrs. Cummins was a great woman, she always made the people around her feel beautiful and loved. She enjoyed baking, camping, RVing, spending time at the beach, and throwing a great party with her family and friends.
Billie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, George Cummins of New Ulm, Texas, daughter, Betty Schuchardt of LaGrange, Texas, grandchildren, Dan Keen and fiancé Laura Jones of Spicewood, Texas, Rusty Keen and wife Natalie of Round Top, Texas, Terri Ideker and husband Brion of Conroe, Texas, Gary Bryant and Michele Bryant of Houston, Texas, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family also survive.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Bryant, sister Margaret, and twin sister Bobbie Rhea.

Mrs Cummins was a sweet, wonderful, lovely lady that will be greatly missed by many. She was a bright shining star that cheered everyone with her smile.
I just now found this on Aunt Billie. She was my “second” Mother, as she and my Mom were identical twins. I guess most of you that are reading this already know that. But I don’t think y’all know how very important Aunt Billie was to me. I loved her dearly and miss her very much 😪
