Betty Lee Hollingsworth Haire, 71, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2018. She was born to Christopher “Lee” and Mamie (Hubach) Hollingsworth on October 24,1946 in the old Sheppard and Allen Hospital in Burnet, Texas.
After attending business school, Betty had a jobs working inside but she most enjoyed working outdoors. She enjoyed being in construction and destruction. Demolition was part of the fun of what she did. ln her spare time, Betty enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, arrowhead hunting, camping, watching Clint Eastwood, “The Walton’s” and the many other movies she had. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Richard Cunningham and his wife Toni of Spicewood, Texas, grandchildren, Kirsten Dennor of San Marcos, Texas, Richard James “RJ” Cunningham and wife Agi of Spicewood, Texas, Christian Christaldi and her husband Christopher of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Brynn Talley and her husband Dustin of Lubbock, Texas and Tim O’Reilly and his wife Tiffany of Lubbock, Texas, and eleven great grandchildren. Numerous family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Richard Hollingsworth, Joe Hollingsworth and Lamar Hollingsworth.
A viewing is planned for 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Spicewood Baptist Church, 7903 County Road 404, Spicewood, Texas 78669. Reverend Bill McCormick will officiate. An online register can be found at www.CremationAdvocates. net.
